The Koxinga Shrine in Kinmen is an ancient-style palace-like building with a total area of 300 square meters, located in the southwestern suburbs of Jincheng. In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, Prince Yanping Zheng Chenggong (Koxinga) used Kinmen as a base for resisting the Qing and restoring the Ming dynasty. This site offers a vast view and was where Zheng Chenggong reviewed his troops from the sea. Facing Nan'an, the Prince's hometown, it symbolizes the spirit of never forgetting the mainland.
