Beishan Broadcast Wall

"Dear compatriots on the mainland, hello, I am Teresa Teng..." Teresa Teng's clear voice broadcast from the enormous loudspeakers. The Beishan Broadcast Wall, situated on Beishan Cliff, along with the Mashan Broadcast Station at the Mashan Observatory, both served as front-line positions during Kinmen's wartime era, used for broadcasting messages and conducting "psychological warfare." They transmitted news, propaganda, commentaries, and calls for surrender, among other information, in Mandarin and Hokkien.
