Jian Gong Islet

Jian Gong Islet is located at the mouth of Wujiang Stream near Jincheng South Gate, covering an area of approximately 500 square meters. It is also known as Dongyu Islet, Zhuyu Islet, or Aoyu Islet. Serving as a sentinel in the sea between Kinmen Main Island and Lieyu Islet, the islet stands firm like a steadfast pillar in the current, thus earning it the moniker "Jian Gong Dǐzhù" (Pillar of Jian Gong).
