Kinmen County Fisheries Research Institute

The Kinmen County Fisheries Research Institute was established in 1968 in response to the development of fisheries. Its work includes experimental breeding and aquaculture of economically important fish and shellfish, fish disease prevention and control, marine resource and ecological environment surveys, basic scientific research in fisheries, research and development of aquatic food products, and providing fishery technology guidance and consulting services.
