Daitianfu Temple

Located in Kinmen's Dongmen (East Gate), the Daitianfu Temple is an important center of faith for local residents. Although there is no clear record of its founding year, it is believed to date back to the Ming Dynasty. Initially, the temple primarily worshipped Lord Wen Wangye. Later, when Lord Chi Wangye passed through this area on his heavenly tour of inspection, Lord Wen Wangye invited him to jointly guard the local community. Since then, both deities have been worshipped together, blessing the area with peace and safety.
