Beiji Temple

The Beiji Temple, located in Kinmen's Wukeng settlement, is an important spiritual center for local residents. Built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, the temple has a long history. It primarily enshrines Xuan Tian Shangdi (Emperor of the Dark Heaven), the patron deity protecting the village. The right shrine is dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva, while the left shrine houses Enzhu Gong and Enzhu Niang. With its numerous deities, the temple blesses the villagers with peace and well-being.
