General's Fort

During the 823 Artillery Battle, under intense enemy fire, Mr. Chiang Ching-kuo was escorted by Generals Wang Sheng and Ko Yuan-fen, who risked their lives to bring him by boat to the front line. There, he discussed the battle situation with the major general steadfastly defending the area, which ultimately led to victory. To commemorate the soldiers who bravely defended day and night under difficult conditions, unafraid of danger, this site was named 'General's Fort'.
