The founder was Zhang Wendi, born in 1897 and died in 1987. His father, Zhang Guixiang, went to Nanyang (Southeast Asia) for development in 1900 and brought Zhang Wendi and his brothers to Malaysia in 1916. Afterward, the father and son worked together to establish the business 'Ruixiang,' subsequently achieving success and wealth. In 1933, Zhang Wendi returned to his hometown, intending to build a house for his parents. He personally supervised the construction, and the Western-style mansion was completed after two years. To ensure his parents could enjoy their later years in comfort, every aspect, from the overall structure and materials to the detailed decorations, was meticulously considered.
