Beishan Western Mansion

The Beishan Western Mansion was jointly built by the three brothers Li Jinyu, Li Yanya, and Li Tianzhu, who were originally from Guningtou. The three brothers found success in the coconut trade in Manila, Philippines. In 1928, they returned to their old home in Beishan and built a large traditional two-section house for their mother to live in. Later, in 1937, they constructed the two-story Western-style mansion. It was built through the combined efforts of master craftsmen from Nan'an, mainland China, and local artisans and masons, including Li Yantou from Guningtou.
