The Triple Houses of Huxia

In 1945, the Jinhefa Company, located on Huxia Paizai Road, operated an oil mill and merchant shipping services. It was jointly managed by Yang Hongli, Yang Qingyan, and Yang Yingju. They transported cargo between Zhangzhou and Shima in Fujian and also imported bamboo crafts and timber from the mainland back to Kinmen for sale. After becoming wealthy, they built three connected Western-style buildings, with each owner occupying one.
