Badalouzi

Badalouzi, a famous landmark, is a castle-like building located at the roundabout where Jiujing Road and Baqing Road meet in Lieyu. It stands dozens of meters tall. On its roof are statues of seven brave warriors, positioned in a battle-ready stance facing all directions, holding grenades or machine guns. It was built to commemorate seven courageous warriors who, during the 1933 Battle of Gubeikou in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, bravely defended the pass at the Great Wall, killed hundreds of enemies, and then heroically sacrificed themselves, successfully completing their mission.
