Liaoluo Coastal Park

Liaoluo Bay is situated on the southeastern coast of Kinmen. In past battles, due to its crucial role in transporting supplies, it became a primary target for artillery bombardment by the Chinese People's Liberation Army. The images of Nationalist troops bravely landing under a hail of bullets have long been poignant and memorable historical scenes associated with Liaoluo Bay. Today, Liaoluo, with its long stretch of clean sandy beaches and beautiful fishing village scenery, has been transformed into Liaoluo Coastal Park. It features facilities such as a visitor center, green spaces, pavilions, and shower areas, making it suitable for families of all ages to enjoy the water and stroll along the shore. Liaoluo Bay also possesses a unique serene beauty at sunset. The coastal park connects to Mazu Park at its southern end, where a statue of Mazu standing on a high platform serves as a new landmark.
