Doumen Ancient Trail

The Doumen Ancient Trail is a newly developed mountain path for ascending Mount Taiwu. In the past, this trail retained its pristine natural beauty due to military control. Along the way, the scenery is expansive and the ecology is rich. The entrance to the ancient trail is located at the foot of Mount Taiwu, near Doumen, and its endpoint is Koxinga's (Zheng Chenggong) Troop Review and Chess-Playing Spot. Although the total length is only about 1 kilometer, the continuous steep ascent makes it a challenging walk. A section of the path midway is carved into steep granite boulders, offering a thrilling and adventurous experience.
