Xiyuan Salt Fields

Located in Jinsha Township, the Xiyuan Salt Fields offers visitors a glimpse into Kinmen's salt production industry, which boasts a history of nearly 700 years. Inside, informative displays vividly illustrate the unique aspects of Kinmen's salt industry and the role salt plays in the daily lives of Kinmen residents. Additionally, the park features two important steles: the 'Stele of Meritorious Deeds for Han Cong, Qing Dynasty Ambassador of Wuzhou Salt Fields' and the 'Yong'an Bridge Stele.' These steles bear witness to the development of Kinmen's salt industry and Xiyuan's significant role in salt production.
