Jīnshuǐ Elementary School

The Huang family of Shuǐtóu Village placed great importance on education. As the number of students in the settlement increased, the family temple, which had served as a lecture hall, became insufficient. The Huang family then proposed building a school. Jīnshuǐ Elementary School was constructed in 1932, with joint funding from overseas Chinese originating from Shuǐtóu.
