Shanglin Beach

Shanglin Beach, located in Lieyu Township, is a coastal secret sanctuary that combines natural ecology with cultural landscapes. Situated directly in front of the Shanglin General Li Temple, the beach offers a vast panoramic view of Xiamen on the opposite shore, making it an excellent spot for enjoying sea views and sunsets. It boasts a rich intertidal zone ecosystem, with large oyster farms appearing at low tide. Oyster farmers can often be seen diligently working amidst the muddy flats, showcasing Kinmen's unique fishing village charm. Along the coast, there are observation bridges and pavilions, providing comfortable resting spaces for travelers.
