Qiu Liang-gong's Former Residence

This building is the ancestral home of Qiu Liang-gong, located in the middle section of Wujiang Street, Jincheng Township. Inside the house, there is still a square bronze mirror. Additionally, there are two imperial decree stones with carved dragons, each measuring 61 cm high and 85 cm wide. The two characters '聖旨' (imperial decree) carved on them are 12 cm square each. Legend has it that after Liang-gong achieved prominence and was conferred a noble title, the emperor, hearing of his humble abode, bestowed upon him a manor. Therefore, he was granted two imperial decree stones, intended to be placed in front of the main gate of the manor. The building's architectural style is a traditional 'one-unit, four-gable-end' layout (一落四櫸頭), with a protruding left wing (左突歸) and surrounding perimeter walls (牆規).
