Huoyanshan Ecological Education Center

The Huoyanshan Ecological Education Center is a landscape building with three above-ground floors and two basement floors. Both its exterior and interior designs were inspired by the unique natural characteristics of Huoyanshan. Located in Sanyi Township, Miaoli County, the center opened on April 16, 2005. It is currently one of the few exhibition, interpretation, and education venues in Taiwan specifically established for natural landscapes. Its mission is to 'make the Huoyanshan Ecological Education Center an important landscape and environmental education venue in Taiwan.' Adjacent to the Miaoli Sanyi Huoyanshan Nature Reserve, it became a certified environmental education facility on June 17, 2020, and in 2023, it received recognition from the National Academy for Educational Research for 'Excellence in Environmental Education Facility Assessment,' serving as an important gateway platform for conservation promotion in the Miaoli area.
