Shuangliu Nature Education Center

Wander through tropical monsoon forests, follow streams to discover waterfalls, joyfully explore and learn about ecology, and witness the sustainable coexistence between the land and its people. The Shuangliu National Forest Recreation Area is located in the mountainous region between the Central Mountain Range and the Hengchun Peninsula, with the Nei-wen Stream flowing through it. Its diverse topography and varied waterways have fostered unique ecological features, including complex forest types such as tropical rainforests, subtropical rainforests, tropical monsoon rainforests, and warm temperate forests, as well as a rich diversity of species. This area is also home to Paiwan tribal settlements, and cultural relics of this indigenous group can still be found within the park.
