Luodong Nature Education Center

Stepping into forestry culture via the century-old railway and exploring Yilan's lush landscapes, we live with nature in the city. Located within the Luodong Forestry Culture Park, it was an important transfer center for the Taipingshan Forest Farm during the heyday of the early forestry industry. Buildings and industrial relics from the Japanese colonial period are still preserved today, including timber transport trains, railway cultural relics, and Zhulin Station. The former log pond has now been transformed into an ecological pond, where aquatic and terrestrial environments form diverse habitats with rich biodiversity.
