Baxianshan Nature Education Center

The Baxianshan Nature Education Center is located within the Baxianshan National Forest Recreation Area in Taichung City, adjacent to Guguan, a town renowned for its hot spring atmosphere. It was once one of Taiwan's three major logging areas, boasting a rich forestry history and diverse forest ecology. Today, this extensive mountain forest not only preserves its historical footprint but has also become an ideal place to explore nature, awaiting your discovery and experience! Serving as a base for the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency to promote forest environmental education in central Taiwan, the Baxianshan Nature Education Center actively promotes forest management, ecological conservation, the preservation of local culture, and works closely with communities and Indigenous partners. Here, through a variety of courses, teachers, students, and the public can immerse themselves in the joy of learning, from the wonderful journey of 'exploring' the forest to developing a sense of responsibility for 'caring' for the Earth, and actively participating in environmental protection through practical actions, contributing to the future of our planet.
